Aegean Bronze Age and especially

  • Political and cultural geography of the Aegean on the basis of material culture
  • Aegean glyptic
  • Aegean scripts, particularly the Cretan Hieroglyphic, Linear A and the Phaistos Disc
  • Aegean administration
  • Searching for the human behind the objects; the way in which material culture can help understand the societies that created it
